Power up your PE Classroom (iPads seminar)

Technology is becoming an increasing part of PE teaching and games coaching. It is recognised by inspectors as a key ingredient of Outstanding teaching. The iPad is the most accessible device for this, being readily available, student friendly and easily adapted to a range of apps that are constantly evolving. This will be a classroom and practical session, in which delegates will use apps in both settings to observe how they can enhance teaching and learning.

Explore Google Apps and Mobile Apps to Work Smarter not Harder
Collecting student data is always important, especially in a school, but it can be an onerous task!  If only there was a way to automate certain tasks …..  Well, I’m happy to tell you, there is! Using a mixture of Google apps can cut this workflow in less than half.
“Work smarter, not harder”. Unleash your inner #PEGeek in this one day, hands on, pre-conference that will enable you to:

Become a more efficient Physical Educator
Effectively use a range of Google Apps in Physical Education
Manipulate student data more efficiently
Use a range of apps to enhance teaching and learning in a meaningful way
And much, much more...

The first half of the day day will explore Google Apps and the second half will explore mobile apps (focus is iOS but some will be multi-platform).  Attendees will be able to take away some of the best practice and actionable ideas, that can be implemented straight away in their departments.

Be ready to maximise your efficiency and integrate technology in a meaningful way.
