The main objective of this session is to share experiential games and resources from my time working as a ‘Play Academy’ workshop facilitator with the organization RIGHT TO PLAY.

I helped deliver workshops to thousands of students across Canada in 2014 & 2016, who were then empowered to take what they learned back to their individual schools, and practice leading their peers with confidence in a school-wide play initiative.
Teachers who participate in this session will be playing/leading experiential games from those workshops, and learning how to use RIGHT TO PLAY’s specific style and structure of introductory/debrief questions (Reflect, Connect, Apply) to help make immediate connections to our schools, our communities, and the rest of the world.
Each teacher will also receive a 2017 Games Manual from RIGHT TO PLAY to take back to their schools. The manual includes games that focus on children’s rights, literacy, numeracy, inclusion, and health; each game includes set-up, introduction, instructions, and debrief questions.

See you in Vienna!
