Dynamic stretching is the most relevant type of stretching for athletes. It can be used as a warm-up, as the main part of the session and at the end of the workout. Dynamic stretching is ideal exercise for several reasons:

It improves blood flow; it reduces pain and stiffness of muscles, reduces the frequency and severity of muscle cramps; dynamic stretching improves range of motion and may reduce risk of injury; helps maintain good posture; improves body coordination; decreased stress and fatigue.

Dynamic stretching can be used as extracurricular activity for different ages to recover the whole organism.
